Base Layout Analysis
Layout style: This is a dense cross-lattice (diamond/rotated grid) design, oriented as a large diamond within the map. The base uses interlocking walled compartments that form a cross/plus-shaped skeleton radiating from the center, with diagonal walls creating a tight, maze-like structure. This style is popular for war bases because it forces attackers into long, unpredictable pathing and makes it hard to funnel troops cleanly to the core.
Core: The Town Hall sits dead-center, heavily boxed in by multiple compartment layers, with Purple/Dark Elixir storages (the pink/violet pots) tucked near the middle rings, splitting attention between protecting the TH and the loot.
Defensive spread: Splash-damage and high-DPS defenses (visible spell towers, multi-target structures, and what look like Inferno-style buildings) are distributed across the four “arms” of the cross rather than stacked centrally, so no matter which side is attacked, defensive coverage overlaps into the middle.
Compartmentalization: Small 2×2/3×3 cells throughout hold buildings like Army Camps, Spell Factories, and resource buildings as “buffer” structures — these soak up early troop deployments and trigger traps before attackers reach high-value targets.
Traps & entrances: Skull icons (traps) are placed along the outer diagonal paths and near compartment seams, a common counter to pathing/queue troops that hug walls.
Outer ring: A wide, mostly empty perimeter apron surrounds the walled diamond — this is intentional, as it prevents easy edge-drops from getting free damage on the outer defenses and forces attackers to commit to a full pathing plan.
Overall assessment: This looks like a solid, symmetric anti-3-star war base — the cross-lattice with rotated diamond orientation is effective at diffusing pathfinding, protecting the TH from direct hits, and separating key defenses so they can’t all be taken out from one entry point.
Before You Copy This Base
- Match the Town Hall: confirm the layout is for your current Town Hall before opening the copy link.
- Inspect the structure: use the placement notes above to check the Town Hall, resource compartments and wall network that matter for your goal.
- Review your defenses: after copying, compare your own defense levels and watch replays so you can adjust traps or exposed buildings for the attacks you actually face.
